Hadith 5984
أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمُثَنَّى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ دُكَيْنٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ أَبِي غَنِيَّةَ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُهَاجِرِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ يَزِيدَ بْنِ السَّكَنِ ، قَالَتْ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ : " لا تَقْتُلُوا أَوْلادَكُمْ سِرًّا ، فَإِنَّ قَتْلَ الْغَيْلِ يُدْرِكُ الْفَارِسَ ، فَيُدَعْثِرُهُ عَنْ فَرَسِهِ " .
Sayyida Asma bint Yazid (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: I heard the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) say, "Do not kill your children secretly, for the effect of killing by Gheel reaches even the horseman and causes him to fall from his horse."
