Hadith 5958
أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي صَعْصَعَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " يُوشِكُ أَنْ يَكُونَ خَيْرَ مَالِ الْمُسْلِمِ غَنَمٌ ، يَتْبَعُ شَغَفَ الْجِبَالِ ، وَمَوَاقِعَ الْقَطْرِ ، يَفِرُّ بِدِينِهِ مِنَ الْفِتَنِ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A time will soon come when the best wealth of a Muslim will be sheep, which he will take with him to the tops of mountains and places of rainfall, fleeing with his religion from tribulations."
