Hadith 5952
أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ سَلْمٍ الأَصْبَهَانِيُّ بِالرَّيِّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عِصَامِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ جَبَّرٌ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنِ الزُّبَيْرِ بْنِ عَدِيٍّ ، قَالَ : أَتَيْنَا أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ ، فَشَكَوْنَا إِلَيْهِ الْحَجَّاجَ ، فَقَالَ : " اصْبِرُوا ، فَإِنَّهُ لا يَأْتِي عَلَيْكُمْ يَوْمٌ أَوْ زَمَانٌ إِلا وَالَّذِي بَعْدَهُ شَرٌّ مِنْهُ حَتَّى تَلْقَوْا رَبَّكُمْ ، سَمِعْتُهُ مِنْ نَبِيِّكُمْ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " .
Zubair bin Adi narrates: We went to Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) and complained to him about Hajjaj. He said: Be patient, for no time will come upon you except that the time after it will be worse than it, until you meet your Lord. I heard this from your Prophet’s own lips.
