Hadith 5948
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ قُتَيْبَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي السَّرِيِّ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنْ هَمَّامِ بْنِ مُنَبِّهٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لا يُشِيرُ أَحَدُكُمْ إِلَى أَخِيهِ بِالسِّلاحِ ، فَإِنَّهُ لا يَدْرِي لَعَلَّ الشَّيْطَانَ يَنْزِعُ مِنْ يَدِهِ ، فَيَقَعُ فِيمَنْ يُنَاوَلُ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "No person should point a weapon towards his brother, for he does not know, perhaps Satan may cause it to slip from his hand and the weapon may strike the other person."
