Chapter on Tribulations – Angels curse those who point a weapon at their brother
Hadith 5944
أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا النَّضْرُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " الْمَلائِكَةُ تَلْعَنُ أَحَدَكُمْ إِذَا أَشَارَ إِلَى أَخِيهِ بِحَدِيدَةٍ ، وَإِنْ كَانَ أَخَاهُ لأَبِيهِ وَأُمِّهِ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "The angels curse the person who points towards his brother with a sharp object, even if he is his real brother."
