The price of barley owed by the Prophet to the Jew when he pawned his armor
Hadith 5937
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ صُبْحٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا آدَمُ ، حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، قَالَ : " رَهَنَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ دِرْعًا لَهُ عِنْدَ يَهُودِيٍّ بِدِينَارٍ ، فَمَا وَجَدَ مَا يَفْتَكُّهَا بِهِ حَتَّى مَاتَ " .
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) mortgaged his armor with a Jew in exchange for one dinar. After that, he did not have enough means to pay off the debt and retrieve it, until the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed away.
