ذكر البيان بأن هذا الفعل إنما زجر عنه لمن عنده أضحية يريد ذبحها وأهل عليه هلال ذي الحجة وهي عنده دون من اشتراها بعد هلاله عليه-
Clarifying that the prohibition is for those who already have a sacrificial animal at the start of Dhul-Hijjah, not those who buy it later
Hadith 5917
أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمُثَنَّى ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُعَاذِ بْنِ مُعَاذٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ عَمَّارَ بْنِ أُكَيْمَةَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ سَعِيدَ بْنَ الْمُسَيِّبِ ، يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ أُمَّ سَلَمَةَ ، تَقُولُ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ كَانَ لَهُ ذِبْحٌ يَذْبَحُهُ ، فَإِذَا أَهَلَّ هِلالُ ذِي الْحِجَّةِ فَلا يَأْخُذْ مِنْ شَعْرِهِ ، وَلا مِنْ أَظْفَارِهِ حَتَّى يُضَحِّيَ " .
Sayyida Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever intends to offer a sacrifice, when the new moon of Dhul-Hijjah is sighted, he should not cut his hair nor trim his nails until he has offered the sacrifice."
