ذكر الزجر عن ترك قطع الودج عند الذبح-
Warning against neglecting to cut the jugular vein during slaughter
Hadith 5888
أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الأَزْدِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : " نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ شَرِيطَةِ الشَّيْطَانِ " ، قَالَ عِكْرِمَةُ : كَانُوا يَقْطَعُونَ مِنْهَا الشَّيْءَ الْيَسِيرَ ، ثُمَّ يَدَعُونَهَا حَتَّى تَمُوتَ ، وَلا يَقْطَعُونَ الْوَدَجَ ، نَهَى عَنْ ذَلِكَ .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade the practice of "Sharitah" of Satan. Ikrimah says: The people in the past used to cut off a small part (of the animal) and then leave the animal as it was until it died; they would not cut its veins. So the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade this practice.
