Lady Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: On the days of Eid, Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) came to her, and there were two girls sitting with her, singing and playing the drum. The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) was lying down with a cloth over his face. Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) scolded the two girls, so the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) removed the cloth from his face and said: "O Abu Bakr! Let them be, for these are the days of Eid." (Lady Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, narrates:) These were the specific days of Mina (i.e., the occasion of the greater Eid).
Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: I remember this about the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), that he had screened me with his cloak and I was watching the Abyssinians who were performing feats in the mosque; at that time, I was a young girl.
(Imam Ibn Hibban, may Allah have mercy on him, says:) This is the last part of the narrations regarding the permissions transmitted from the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), which we have dictated in various chapters. Some ahadith related to this category remain, which we will mention in other types, just as we have mentioned them in this category, according to the fundamental methodology by which we have arranged the book.
After this category, we will dictate the fifth category of the Sunan, and these are the actions of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), which will be dictated along with their chapters and types, if Allah Almighty so decrees and wills. May Allah Almighty include us among those who are guided to the straight path, granted the ability to follow the correct way, who intended to collect the Sunan and reports, acquired understanding of authentic narrations, and preferred those deeds which can bring them closer to the presence of the Almighty, and preferred them over those things which, in principle, distance from Him. Indeed, He (i.e., Allah Almighty) is the best to be asked.
