Hadith 5869
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الثَّقَفِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَهْلِ بْنِ عَسْكَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الرَّقِّيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ، عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ رَاشِدٍ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، أَنَّ أَبَا بَكْرٍ ، دَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا فِي أَيَّامِ التَّشْرِيقِ وَعِنْدَهَا جَارِيَتَانِ تُغَنِّيَانِ وَتَضْرِبَانِ بِالدُّفِّ ، فَسَبَّهُمَا وَخَرَقَ دُفَّيْهِمَا ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " دَعْهُمَا ، فَإِنَّهَا أَيَّامُ عِيدٍ " .
Lady Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) came to her during the days of Tashreeq. Two girls were sitting with her, singing and playing the daff. Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) scolded them and tore their daff. Then the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Let them do it, for these are the days of Eid.
