Chapter on Two-Faced People – Description of the punishment for two-faced people in Hell
Hadith 5756
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ ، عَنِ الرُّكَيْنِ بْنِ الرَّبِيعِ ، عَنْ نُعَيْمِ بْنِ حَنْظَلَةَ ، عَنْ عَمَّارِ بْنِ يَاسِرٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " مَنْ كَانَ ذَا وَجْهَيْنِ فِي الدُّنْيَا كَانَ لَهُ لِسَانَانِ مِنْ نَارٍ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " .
Sayyiduna Ammar bin Yasir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Whoever is two-faced in this world, on the Day of Resurrection he will have two tongues made of fire."
