Sayyiduna Imran bin Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Once we were traveling with the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). A woman was riding her she-camel. That woman scolded the she-camel and cursed it. So the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Take your belongings off this she-camel and leave it, for it has been cursed. The narrator says: The people did exactly that. The sight of that she-camel is as if still before my eyes; it was an ashen-colored she-camel.
(Imam Ibn Hibban, may Allah have mercy on him, says:) The uncle of the narrator Abu Qilabah is Amr bin Mu’awiyah bin Zayd al-Jarmi, whose kunyah is Abu Muhallab. Imam Awza’i was mistaken about his kunyah, so he said: His kunyah is Abu Muhajir. The reason is that even a rider sometimes stumbles.
