Chapter on Disliked and Permissible Speech – On clarifying that one who is protected from the trial of his mouth and private parts is hoped to enter Paradise
Hadith 5703
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ الْخَلِيلِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَالِدٍ الأَحْمَرُ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَجْلانَ ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ وُقِيَ شَرَّ مَا بَيْنَ لَحْيَيْهِ ، وَرِجْلَيْهِ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever is protected from the evil of that which is between his jaws (the tongue) and that which is between his legs (the private parts), will enter Paradise."
