Hadith 5687
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ الأَنْصَارِيُّ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ ، عَنِ الأَعْرَجِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " إِيَّاكُمْ وَالظَّنَّ ، فَإِنَّ الظَّنَّ أَكْذَبُ الْحَدِيثِ ، وَلا تَجَسَّسُوا ، وَلا تَحَسَّسُوا ، وَلا تَحَاسَدُوا ، وَلا تَنَافَسُوا ، وَلا تَبَاغَضُوا ، وَلا تَدَابَرُوا ، وَكُونُوا عِبَادًا لِلَّهِ إِخْوَانًا " .
Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Beware of suspicion, for suspicion is the most false of speech. Do not spy on one another. Do not try to discover each other's hidden matters. Do not envy one another. Do not distance yourselves from one another. Do not harbor malice against one another. Do not turn your faces away from one another, and be, O servants of Allah, brothers to one another."
