Hadith 5683
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الدَّغُولِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الذُّهْلِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَارِثِ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، وَشُعْبَةُ ، عَنِ الرُّكَيْنِ بْنِ الرَّبِيعِ ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ حَسَّانَ ، عَنْ عَمِّهِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ حَرْمَلَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ : أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " كَرِهَ عَشْرًا : تَغْيِيرَ الشَّيْبِ ، وَخَاتَمَ الذَّهَبِ ، وَالضَّرْبَ بِالْكِعَابِ ، وَالرُّقَى إِلا بِالْمُعَوِّذَاتِ ، وَالتَّمَائِمَ ، وَجَرَّ الإِزَارِ ، وَالصُّفْرَةَ ، وَالتَّبَرُّجَ بِالزِّينَةِ لِغَيْرِ مَحِلِّهَا ، وَعَزْلَ الْمَاءِ عَنْ مَحِلِّهِ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas’ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) declared ten things as disliked: changing the color of white (hair), wearing a gold ring, playing with dice, performing ruqyah (incantations), hanging amulets, letting the lower garment hang (below the ankles), yellow (color), displaying adornment unlawfully, and removing water (i.e., semen) from its designated place (all these actions were declared disliked).
