Hadith 5681
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ السَّامِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْمَقَابِرِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، قَالَ : وَأَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ دِينَارٍ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ ابْنَ عُمَرَ ، يَقُولُ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّ الَّذِي يَجُرُّ ثَوْبَهُ مِنَ الْخُيَلاءِ ، لا يَنْظُرُ اللَّهُ إِلَيْهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, whoever lets his garment hang below his ankles out of arrogance, Allah Almighty will not look at him with mercy on the Day of Resurrection."
