Hadith 5639
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو خَلِيفَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنَّ أَبَا لُبَابَةَ ، قَالَ : إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " نَهَى عَنْ قَتْلِ الْحَيَّاتِ الَّتِي تَكُونُ فِي الْبُيُوتِ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: Sayyiduna Abu Lubabah (may Allah be pleased with him) has stated that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) commanded to kill the snakes present in the houses.
