Ibn Hibban

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: During the blessed time of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), there was a solar eclipse. The Prophet stood up and we also stood up. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) performed the prayer. After that, he turned towards us to speak. He said: Paradise was presented before me, to the extent that if I wished, I could have taken a bunch from it. Hell was also presented before me; if I had not pushed it away, it would have engulfed you. I saw three people in it who were being punished. One was a tall, dark-skinned woman from Yemen who was being punished because of a cat. She had tied up the cat. She did not let it go so it could eat on its own, nor did she give it anything to eat, until the cat died. Then the cat would come to her, then come from behind her, and scratch her. (I saw in Hell) a man from Banu Dada’ah who had an issue with two she-camels, who was tied between two pillars in Hell. (The narrator says) those two she-camels were among the sacrificial animals of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), which that man had stolen. (The Prophet said) I saw a man with a stick, who was leaning on his stick. This man used to steal the belongings of pilgrims with his stick; when his theft remained hidden, he would take the goods away, and when he was caught, he would say: I did not steal; this thing just got caught on my stick.
