ذكر الزجر عن أكل مال اليتيم-
On the prohibition of consuming the wealth of orphans
Hadith 5564
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّوْرَقِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْمُقْرِئُ ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ ، حَدَّثَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ أَبِي سَالِمٍ الْجَيْشَانِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ ، قَالَ : قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " يَا أَبَا ذَرٍّ ، إِنِّي أَرَاكَ ضَعِيفًا ، وَإِنِّي أُحِبُّ لَكَ مَا أُحِبُّ لِنَفْسِي ، لا تَتَوَلَّيَنَّ مَالَ يَتِيمٍ ، وَلا تَتَأَمَّرَنَّ عَلَى اثْنَيْنِ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Dharr Ghifari (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: O Abu Dharr! I consider you weak. I like for you what I like for myself. Never become the guardian of an orphan’s wealth, and do not become the leader of even two people.
Hadith 5565
أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ بْنِ وَرْدَانَ بِمِصْرَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ حَمَّادٍ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا اللَّيْثُ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَجْلانَ ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ : " أُحَرِّجُ مَالَ الضَّعِيفَيْنِ : الْيَتِيمِ وَالْمَرْأَةِ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to say this from the pulpit: "I urge you to be cautious regarding the wealth of two weak ones—the orphan and the woman."
