ذكر البيان بأن اليمين الغموس الذي وصفناه من الكبائر-
On clarifying that deliberate false oaths are among the major sins
Hadith 5563
أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمُثَنَّى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ بَقِيَّةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أُنَيْسٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مِنْ أَكْبَرُ الْكَبَائِرِ : الإِشْرَاكُ بِاللَّهِ ، وَعُقُوقُ الْوَالِدَيْنِ ، وَالْيَمِينُ الْغَمُوسُ ، وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ لا يَحْلِفُ الرَّجُلُ عَلَى مِثْلِ جَنَاحِ بَعُوضَةٍ ، إِلا كَانَتْ كَيَّةً فِي قَلْبِهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Anis (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Among the major sins are associating partners with Allah, disobeying parents, and taking a false oath. By the One in Whose hand is my soul! If a person swears an oath about anything, even as small as a mosquito's wing, then on the Day of Resurrection that oath will be a burden (or a stain) upon his heart."
