ذكر البيان بأن هذا العدد المذكور لم يرد به النفي عما دونه-
On clarifying that the mentioned number does not exclude lesser sins
Hadith 5562
أَخْبَرَنَا النَّضْرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ الْعِجْلِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُوسَى ، عَنْ شَيْبَانَ ، عَنْ فِرَاسٍ ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو ، قَالَ : جَاءَ أَعْرَابِيٌّ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، مَا الْكَبَائِرُ ؟ قَالَ : " الإِشْرَاكُ بِاللَّهِ ، قَالَ : ثُمَّ مَاذَا ؟ قَالَ : ثُمَّ عُقُوقُ الْوَالِدَيْنِ ، قَالَ : ثُمَّ مَاذَا ؟ قَالَ : ثُمَّ الْيَمِينُ الْغَمُوسُ " ، قُلْتُ لِعَامِرٍ : مَا الْيَمِينُ الْغَمُوسُ ؟ قَالَ : الَّذِي يَقْتَطِعُ مَالَ امْرِئٍ مُسْلِمٍ بِيَمِينٍ صَبْرٍ ، وَهُوَ فِيهَا كَاذِبٌ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: A Bedouin came to the service of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). He asked: O Messenger of Allah, what is the major sin? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Associating partners with Allah. He asked: Then which one? He said: Then disobedience to parents. He asked: Then which one? He said: Then taking a false oath.
The narrator states: I asked my teacher Amir, what is meant by "Yameen Ghamus"? He replied: It is when a person takes a false oath and thereby usurps the wealth of a Muslim.
