باب آداب النوم - ذكر الخبر الدال على أن الفعل المجزور عنه إنما أريد بذلك رفع إحدى الرجلين على الأخرى لا وضعها عليها-

Hadith 5553
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ قُتَيْبَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ مَوْهَبٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ " نَهَى عَنِ اشْتِمَالِ الصَّمَّاءِ ، وَالاحْتِبَاءِ فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ ، وَأَنْ يَرْفَعَ الرَّجُلُ إِحْدَى رِجْلَيْهِ عَلَى الأُخْرَى وَهُوَ مُسْتَلْقٍ عَلَى ظَهْرِهِ " .
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade wrapping oneself in a single garment in such a way that it covers the whole body (ishtimal as-samma’) and from wrapping oneself in a single cloth as a form of ihtiba’ (sitting with knees drawn up and the cloth wrapped around them), and (he also forbade) that a man places one foot over the other while lying on his back.
