Ibn Hibban

Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "When any person goes to his bed, he should dust it off with the inner side of his lower garment and say 'Bismillah' (In the name of Allah), because he does not know what may have come onto his bed after him. Then, when he intends to lie down, he should lie on his right side and recite this: 'Glory be to You, O my Lord, I lay my side (on the bed) with Your help and I will raise it with Your help. If You take my soul (i.e., cause me to die), then forgive it, and if You let it go (i.e., I wake up again), then protect it with that which You protect Your righteous servants.'"
