Hadith 5530
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سَيَّارٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ عَدِيٍّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَثَّامُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا تَضَوَّرَ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ ، قَالَ : " لا إِلَهَ إِلا اللَّهُ الْوَاحِدُ الْقَهَّارُ ، رَبُّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا الْعَزِيزُ الْغَفَّارُ " .
Sayyida Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: When the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) would wake up at night, he would recite this: "There is no deity except Allah, He is One, He is Dominant, He is the Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them. He is the Dominant and the Forgiving."
