Hadith 5524
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ السَّعْدِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الرَّمَادِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي بُكَيْرٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ ، أَنَّ فَاطِمَةَ أَتَتِ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تَشْكُوا إِلَيْهِ أَثَرَ الرَّحَى ، وَبَلَغَهَا أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أُتِيَ بِسَبْيٍ ، فَأَتَتِ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تَسْأَلُهُ خَادِمًا ، فَلَمْ تَلْقَهُ وَلَقِيَتْ عَائِشَةَ ، فَحَدَّثَتْهَا الْحَدِيثَ ، فَلَمَّا جَاءَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَخْبَرَتْهُ بِذَلِكَ ، فَأَتَانَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، وَقَدْ أَخَذْنَا مَضَاجِعَنَا ، فَذَهَبْنَا لِنَقُومَ ، فَقَالَ : " مَكَانَكُمَا ، وَقَعَدَ بَيْنَنَا ، حَتَّى وَجَدْتُ بَرْدَ قَدَمِهِ عَلَى صَدْرِي ، فَقَالَ : أَدَلُّكَمَا عَلَى خَيْرٍ مِمَّا سَأَلْتُمَانِي ، تُكَبِّرَانِ أَرْبَعًا وَثَلاثِينَ ، وَتُسَبِّحَانِ ثَلاثًا وَثَلاثِينَ ، وَتَحْمَدَانِ ثَلاثًا وَثَلاثِينَ إِذَا أَخَذْتُمَا مَضَاجِعَكُمَا ، فَإِنَّهُ خَيْرٌ لَكُمَا مِنْ خَادِمٍ " .
Sayyiduna Ali bin Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Once, Sayyidah Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) came to the service of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) to complain about the hardship she faced due to grinding (grain). Sayyidah Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) had come to know that some captives had come to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), so she came to request a servant from him. She did not meet the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). She met Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her). She told Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) the whole matter. When the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) arrived, Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) informed him of this. (Sayyiduna Ali, may Allah be pleased with him, narrates) The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came to us (at night) when we had already lain down in our bed. We were about to get up, but the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Stay in your places. He sat down between us until I felt the coolness of his blessed feet on my chest. He said: Shall I not guide you both to something better than what you have asked of me? When you go to bed, recite Allahu Akbar 34 times, Subhan Allah 33 times, and Alhamdulillah 33 times. This is better for both of you than having a servant.
