Report on the Acts of Natural Disposition (Fitrah)
Hadith 5478
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسْنُ بْنِ خَلِيلٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَنْظَلَةُ بْنُ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ نَافِعًا ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " الْفِطْرَةُ : قَصُّ الشَّارِبِ ، وَتَقْلِيمُ الأَظْفَارِ ، وَحَلْقُ الْعَانَةِ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) narrates this statement of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Trimming the moustache, cutting the nails, and removing the pubic hair are part of the natural disposition (fitrah)."
