ذكر الأمر بتخضيب اللحى لمن تعرى عن العلل فيه-
Instruction to Dye the Beard for Those Without Excuse
Hadith 5470
أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ قُتَيْبَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا حَرْمَلَةُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا يُونُسُ ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّ الْيَهُودَ وَالنَّصَارَى لا يَصْبِغُونَ ، فَخَالِفُوهُمْ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, the Jews and Christians do not dye (their hair), so you should do the opposite of them."
