Hadith 5366
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الرَّبِيعِ الزَّهْرَانِيُّ ، وَأَبُو كَامِلٍ الْجَحْدَرِيُّ ، وَإِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْعَلافُ ، قَالُوا : حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " كُلُّ مُسْكِرٍ خَمْرٌ ، وَكُلُّ مُسْكِرٍ حَرَامٌ ، وَمَنْ شَرِبَ الْخَمْرَ فِي الدُّنْيَا فَمَاتَ وَهُوَ يُدْمِنُهَا ، لَمْ يَتُبْ مِنْهَا ، لَمْ يَشْرَبْهَا فِي الآخِرَةِ " ، قَالَ أَبُو حَاتِمٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ : لَفْظُ الْخَبَرِ ، لأَبِي كَامِلٍ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates this statement of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Every intoxicating thing is khamr, and every intoxicating thing is forbidden. Whoever drinks khamr in this world and dies while he is accustomed to drinking it and has not repented from it, then he will not be able to drink it in the Hereafter."
