Hadith 5302
أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا بُنْدَارٌ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ ، قَالَ : صَنَعَ رَجُلٌ طَعَامًا ، فَبَعَثَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَ : ائْتِنِي أَنْتَ وَخَمْسَةٌ ، قَالَ : فَبَعَثَ إِلَيْهِ : " أَتَأْذَنُ لِي فِي سَادِسٍ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: A man prepared food and sent a message to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and requested that you, along with five men, come to my place. So the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) sent him a message: Will you allow a sixth man to join me?
