Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: A Persian man was a neighbor of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). His stew used to be extremely fragrant. He prepared food and then came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and gestured to him to come. At that time, Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) was present with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: Will she come with me? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) pointed towards Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), so he replied: No. Then he gestured again to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: She is with me. He again said: No. Then for the third time, he gestured to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: She is with me. When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) pointed towards Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), he said: Alright (meaning she may also come).
