Hadith 5209
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَلِيفَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ عَطِيَّةَ ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلابَةَ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِذَا وُضِعَ الْعَشَاءُ ، وَأُقِيمَتِ الصَّلاةُ ، فَابْدَءُوا بِالْعَشَاءِ " .
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When food is served and the prayer is established, then eat the food first."
Hadith 5210
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو خَلِيفَةَ ، فِي عَقِبِهِ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلابَةَ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِثْلَهُ .
This same narration is also transmitted with another chain of narration from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik, may Allah be pleased with him.
