Hadith 5193
أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَلْمٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ ، أَنَّ بُكَيْرًا حَدَّثَهُ ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ حَدَّثَهُ ، عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ أَبِي عَيَّاشٍ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ : " أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى عَنْ كِرَاءِ الأَرْضِ " ، قَالَ بُكَيْرٌ : وَحَدَّثَنِي نَافِعٌ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ ابْنَ عُمَرَ يَقُولُ : كُنَّا نُكْرِي أَرْضَنَا ، ثُمَّ تَرَكْنَا ذَلِكَ حِينَ سَمِعْنَا حَدِيثَ رَافِعِ بْنِ خَدِيجٍ ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ .
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with them) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade leasing land. Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) narrates: Previously, we used to lease land, but when we heard this hadith of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) from Sayyiduna Rafi' bin Khadij (may Allah be pleased with him), we abandoned it.
