Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Beware of oppression, for on the Day of Resurrection, oppression will be in the form of darknesses. And avoid obscene speech, for Allah Almighty does not like a person who is obscene and foul-mouthed. And beware of miserliness, for miserliness destroyed those before you. It incited them to sever the ties of kinship, so they severed them. It incited them to commit sins, so they committed sins. It incited them to be miserly, so they were miserly."
A man asked: "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! Which Islam is most virtuous?" The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "(It is) that Muslims are safe from your tongue and your hands." He asked: "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! Which estrangement is most virtuous?" The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "That you become estranged from that which your Lord dislikes."
The narrator states: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There are two types of migration: the migration of the city-dweller and the migration of the villager. As for the migration of the villager, it is that when he is called, he comes, and when he is commanded, he obeys. As for the migration of the city-dweller, there is a greater trial in it and its reward is also greater."

Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Avoid obscene speech, for Allah Almighty does not like the one who is obscene and foul-mouthed. And avoid oppression, for oppression will appear as darknesses on the Day of Resurrection. And avoid miserliness, for miserliness invited those before you, so they shed each other's blood and violated the rights of kinship because of it."
