ذكر البيان بأن الله قد يمهل الظلمة والفساق إلى وقت قضاء أخذهم فإذا أخذهم أخذ بشدة نعوذ بالله منه-
Clarification that Allah may delay punishment for oppressors until He seizes them severely
Hadith 5175
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْجَوْهَرِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا بُرَيْدٌ ، عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُمْهِلُ الظَّالِمَ حَتَّى إِذَا أَخَذَهُ لَمْ يَنْفَلِتْ ، ثُمَّ تَلا : وَكَذَلِكَ أَخْذُ رَبِّكَ إِذَا أَخَذَ الْقُرَى وَهِيَ ظَالِمَةٌ إِنَّ أَخْذَهُ أَلِيمٌ شَدِيدٌ سورة هود آية 102 " .
Sayyiduna Abu Musa Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): "Indeed, Allah Almighty gives respite to the oppressor until, when He seizes him, He does not let him go." Then he recited this verse: "Such is the seizure of your Lord when He seizes the towns while they are doing wrong. Indeed, His seizure is painful and severe."
