ذكر الإباحة للمرء أن يكون وزانا للناس بعد أن يلزم النصيحة في أموره وأسبابه-
Permissibility of working as a weigher for people if one is honest
Hadith 5147
أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الأَزْدِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ ، عَنْ سُوَيْدِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ ، قَالَ : " جَلَبْتُ أَنَا وَمَخْرَفَةُ الْعَبْدِيُّ بَزًّا مِنْ هَجَرَ ، فَأَتَانَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَسَاوَمَنَا سَرَاوِيلَ ، وَعِنْدَهُ وَزَّانٌ يَزِنُ بِالأَجْرِ ، فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : زِنْ فَأَرْجِحْ " ، أَرَادَ بِهِ مِنْ مَالِهِ لِيُعْطِيَ ثَمَنَ السَّرَاوِيلِ رَاجِحًا .
Sayyiduna Suwaid bin Qais (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I and Makhrifah ‘Abdi bought cloth at the place of “Hajar.” The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) came to us and made a deal with us for a pair of trousers. There was a person with you who used to weigh in exchange; the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said to him: “Weigh and give extra payment.”
(Imam Ibn Hibban, may Allah have mercy on him, says:) By this is meant: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) wanted to pay extra for the trousers from his own wealth.
