ذكر البيان بأن قوله صلى الله عليه وسلم ولعقبه أراد به بعد موته-
Clarification that “and his descendants” means after his death
Hadith 5140
أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُوسَى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَعْمَرٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " مَنْ أُعْمِرَ شَيْئًا فَهُوَ لَهُ حَيَاتَهُ وَبَعْدَ مَوْتِهِ " .
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): "Whoever is given something as 'Umra, it will be counted as his property during his life and after his death."
