ذكر الأمر بالتسوية بين الأولاد في النحل إذ تركه حيف-
Command to treat children equally in gifts, as favoritism is injustice
Hadith 5098
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أُسَيْدٍ بِفَمِ الصُّلْحِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْخُرْقِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ نُصَيْرٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا فِطْرُ بْنُ خَلِيفَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي الضُّحَى ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ النُّعْمَانَ بْنَ بَشِيرٍ ، يَقُولُ : انْطَلَقَ بِي أَبِي إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِيُشْهِدَهُ عَلَى عَطِيَّةٍ يُعْطِينِيهَا ، فَقَالَ : " هَلْ لَكَ ، وَلَدٌ غَيْرَهُ ؟ " قَالَ : قُلْتُ : نَعَمْ ، قَالَ : " سَوِّ بَيْنَهُمْ " .
Sayyiduna Nu’man bin Bashir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: My father took me along to the service of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) so that he could make the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) a witness to the gift he had given me. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked: Do you have any other children besides him? He replied: Yes. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Then treat them equally (in giving gifts).
