Hadith 5091
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْفَتْحِ السِّمْسَارُ بِسَمَرْقَنْدَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الدَّارِمِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مَرْوَانُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الطَّاطَرِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ بِلالٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي كَثِيرُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، عَنِ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ رَبَاحٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " الصُّلْحُ جَائِزٌ بَيْنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ ، إِلا صُلْحًا أَحَلَّ حَرَامًا أَوْ حَرَّمَ حَلالا " .
Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Reconciliation among Muslims is permissible in all matters except for a reconciliation that makes something unlawful lawful, or makes something lawful unlawful."
