Hadith 5085
أَخْبَرَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ الْعُمَرِيُّ بِالْمَوْصِلِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُعَلَّى بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ ، عَنْ أَبِي الأَحْوَصِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ حَلَفَ عَلَى يَمِينِ صَبْرٍ كَاذِبًا لِيَقْتَطِعَ بِهَا مَالَ أَخِيهِ ، لَقِيَ اللَّهَ وَهُوَ عَلَيْهِ غَضْبَانُ ، وَذَلِكَ بِأَنَّ اللَّهَ ، يَقُولُ : إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَشْتَرُونَ بِعَهْدِ اللَّهِ وَأَيْمَانِهِمْ ثَمَنًا قَلِيلا سورة آل عمران آية 77 " إِلَى آخِرِ الآيَةِ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever takes a false oath in order to usurp his brother's wealth, when he will appear before Allah, Allah Almighty will be angry with him." (Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud [may Allah be pleased with him] says) This is supported by the statement of Allah Almighty: "Indeed, those who exchange Allah's covenant and their oaths for a small price..."
