ذكر الإخبار عن ضمان المصطفى صلى الله عليه وسلم دين من مات من أمته ولم يترك له وفاء إذا لم يكن بالمتعدي فيه-
Report that the Prophet guaranteed the debt of anyone who died without leaving repayment, unless it was due to wrongdoing
Hadith 5054
أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الأَزْدِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " مَنْ تَرَكَ مَالا فَلأَهْلِهِ ، وَمَنْ تَرَكَ دَيْنًا فَإِلَيَّ وَعَلَيَّ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Whoever leaves behind wealth, it will go to his family, and whoever leaves behind a debt, let him come to me and its payment will be my responsibility."
