Hadith 5007
أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ الْحُصَيْنِ ، عَنْ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ مَوْلَى ابْنِ أَبِي أَحْمَدَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " رَخَّصَ فِي بَيْعِ الْعَرَايَا فِيمَا دُونَ خَمْسَةِ أَوْسُقٍ ، أَوْ خَمْسَةِ أَوْسُقٍ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) permitted the sale of ‘Araya, when it is less than five wasqs (the narrator is in doubt, or perhaps the words are:) five wasqs.
