Hadith 4999
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي نَافِعٌ ، أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ أَخْبَرَهُ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " نَهَى عَنْ بَيْعِ ثَمَرِ النَّخْلِ بِالتَّمْرِ كَيْلا ، وَعَنْ بَيْعِ الْعِنَبِ بِالزَّبِيبِ ، وَعَنْ بَيْعِ الزَّرْعِ بِالْحِنْطَةِ كَيْلا " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade selling the fruit of a date-palm tree in exchange for dates by measure, and selling grapes in exchange for raisins by measure, and selling a (wheat) field in exchange for wheat by measure.
