Hadith 4998
أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، " أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى عَنِ الْمُزَابَنَةِ " ، وَالْمُزَابَنَةُ بَيْعُ التَّمْرِ بِالتَّمْرِ كَيْلا ، وَبَيْعُ الْكَرْمِ بِالزَّبِيبِ كَيْلا .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade Muzabana. (The narrator says:) Muzabana means that dates are sold for dates by measure, and grapes are sold for raisins by measure.
