Hadith 4987
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَظِيمِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي رَزِينٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الأَوْزَاعِيُّ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي حَمْزَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : " رَأَيْتُ أَصْحَابَ الطَّعَامِ يَضْرِبُونَ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، إِذَا اشْتَرَوْا طَعَامًا مُجَازَفَةً فَبَاعُوهُ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُؤْوُوهُ إِلَى رِحَالِهِمْ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: I saw that in the blessed era of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), those grain dealers were beaten who, after buying grain by estimation, would sell it to others before transferring it to their own designated place.
