Hadith 4903
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ مَوْلَى ثَقِيفٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَهْلِ بْنِ عَسْكَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُطَرِّفٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُنْكَدِرِ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " رَحِمَ اللَّهُ عَبْدًا سَمْحًا ، إِذَا بَاعَ سَمْحًا ، إِذَا اشْتَرَى سَمْحًا ، سَمْحًا إِذَا قَضَى " .
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "May Allah have mercy on the servant who is gentle when selling, gentle when buying, gentle when demanding (his due), and gentle when paying."
