Chapter on Dhimmis and Jizya – On the permissibility of fulfilling the rights of dhimmis if it may lead them to Islam.
Hadith 4883
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الْخَطِيبُ بِالأَهْوَازِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْخُزَاعِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، قَالَ : " عَادَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَهُودِيًّا " .
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) visited a Jewish man who was ill.
