Chapter on Spoils of War and Their Distribution – On the prohibition of intercourse with a pregnant captive until she gives birth.
Hadith 4846
أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ قُتَيْبَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أُسَامَةُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِدْرِيسَ الْخَوْلانِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي ثَعْلَبَةَ الْخُشَنِيِّ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " نَهَى عَامَ خَيْبَرَ أَنْ تُوطَأَ الْحَبَالَى مِنَ السَّبْيِ حَتَّى يَضَعْنَ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Tha’labah Khushani (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade, on the occasion of the Battle of Khaybar, having intercourse with pregnant women among the captives until they give birth to the child in their womb.
