Hadith 4839
Iyas bin Salamah narrates from his father (Sayyiduna Salamah bin Akwa’ رضي الله عنه): A man got up and left from the presence of the Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم. It was reported to the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم that he was a spy of the polytheists. So the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said: Whoever kills him, his belongings (i.e., his weapons, etc.) will belong to him. (Sayyiduna Salamah رضي الله عنه narrates:) I reached him and killed him, so the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم gave me his belongings.
