Chapter on Spoils of War and Their Distribution – On what God granted exclusively to His Prophet of taking a special share from the spoils.
Hadith 4822
أَخْبَرَنَا أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ زُهَيْرٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْجَهْضَمِيُّ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ : " كَانَتْ صَفِيَّةُ مِنَ الصَّفِيِّ " .
Sayyidah Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: Sayyidah Safiyyah (may Allah be pleased with her) was included (as part of the spoils of war) in that wealth which was specifically allocated for the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him).
