Chapter on Setting Out and the Manner of Jihad – On the recommendation to seek victory through the weak among the Muslims when war is at its peak.
Hadith 4767
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ ، حَدَّثَنَا حِبَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ بْنِ جَابِرٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي زَيْدُ بْنُ أَرْطَأَةَ ، عَنْ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ نُفَيْرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : " ابْغُوا لِي ضُعَفَاءَكُمْ ، فَإِنَّمَا تُرْزَقُونَ ، وَتُنْصَرُونَ بِضُعَفَائِكُمْ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying: "Bring to me your weak ones, for indeed you are provided for and helped because of your weak ones."
